1. Familiarizar al alumno con las ideas y algunos de los métodos más eficaces y en Ciencia de Datos utilizando dos ejemplos fundamentales: Deep learning y árboles de decisión.
2. Que el alumno sea capaz de comprender el trasfondo teórico de los algoritmos elegidos con el fin de ofrecerle autonomía para estudiar y aprovechar sus cualidades.
3. Invitar al alumno a las ideas y el formalismo de técnicas más elaboradas tales como: pruning, stochastic gradient descent o back-propagation.
